Maddie Comly's 41-point performance in the PIAA tournament showed just how much she can take over a game.

Coaches around the YAIAA knew that well before then, when they voted her the Player of the Year for Divisions III and IV. Comly, who averaged 18.4 points this winter as a junior, is joined by Eastern York's Morgan Thomas, Hanover sophomore Soukaina Tracy, York Catholic junior Hannah Laslo and Delone senior Mary Gingrow on the first team.

Eastern's Cheryl Land was voted Coach of the Year after guiding the Golden Knights to a Division III title. Their only league loss came against York Catholic, which shared Division IV with Delone.

Those two dominated their division and Class AA play, where they returned for a fourth straight District 3 title game. Laslo anchored the center of York Catholic's attack as it won a ninth straight district championship. Tracy scored 21.3 points per game for Hanover before her season ended prematurely because of a torn left ACL. The point guard also was Hanover's leader in rebounding an assists.
