Scott Hess, South Western: The Mustang senior led the team to an appearance in the District 3 tournament behind 15 goals and 12 assists.
"No matter who we were playing, he had to be accounted for, and even with him being man marked or doubled, he was able to produce," Mustangs head coach Clayton Wilcox said. "He sees plays develop long before most players."
Hess assisted on one of the two goals for South Western in its preliminary round win over Elizabethtown in districts.
South Western finished second in Division I play and 12-7-1 overall . In a 4-0 win against Spring Grove, Hess recorded a hat trick in the first half and also assisted on the other Mustangs goal.
The senior and four time all-star was also named to the Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association all-state team. For his career, Hess scored 47 times and assisted on 40 goals.

"Erik was a leader by example," Lenno said. "He is extremely technical on the ball."
The Panthers' historic season included playing in the PIAA tournament for the first time after getting to the semifinal round of the District 3 tournament for the first time.
Rishel registered an assist on the Panthers' lone goal in their first-round loss to Great Valley in the state tournament.
