Taylor Rohrbaugh completed her no-hit bid in Central York's 10-0 win against Kennard-Dale in the YAIAA softball tournament semifinals on Friday in the completion of a game that was suspended Thursday because of rain.

The Panthers entered Friday's play with a 10-0 lead in the bottom of the fourth, needing six outs to enact the 10-run rule. Rohrbaugh recorded three strikeouts and didn't give up a hit to help Central shut the door and reach Monday's championship game. The Panthers will face Delone Catholic, which also held onto the lead it created Thursday before the rain suspended play.

Eight of the nine Panthers recorded a hit between the two portions of game. Jordyn Miller was a force for the Panthers, smacking two doubles. The Central defense committed zero errors.

Central threatened to add to its lead Friday with runners in scoring position, but Kennard-Dale pitcher Julia D'Arrigo was able to induce a groundout to get out of the jam.

Fittingly, the final out of the game was recorded on a ground ball back to Rohrbaugh, who threw to first to end the game.

Rohrbaugh finished with 11 strikeouts and four walks to earn the victory.

The Panthers will play Delone Catholic for the YAIAA championship at 5 p.m. Monday at New Oxford.

Delone Catholic 13, Spring Grove 6: The Squirettes entered with a 9-3 lead and kept up the momentum when play resumed Friday in the bottom of the fourth inning of Thursday's suspended semifinal. Delone scored four more runs and held off the Rockets.

The Squirettes' advantage came on the base paths, as they collected seven stolen bases. Shayna Rider finished with four hits, none of which left the infield. Deanna Laughman and Shelbee Holcomb combined for seven hits.

The Rockets put on a late charge, adding three runs from Thursday's total but fell short as Delone starting pitcher Cassie Rickrode was able to induce outs by a mixture of fly balls and grounders.

Four Rockets doubled in the semifinal: Amy Senft, Amy Bentley, Jenna Jacoby and Nikki Filbey. Hayley Norton homered for the Rockets. Norton, Bentley and Filbey all finished with three hits.
