Lexi Rhein, Eastern York: The Golden Knights' setter/outside hitter had a strong final season. She led the team in assists (279), digs (218) and kills (229), and was second on the squad with blocks (25) and service aces (19).

The senior earned triple-doubles with her kills, digs and assists on nine separate occasions during her senior season, including a 31-kill, 28-dig, 21-assist performance against New Oxford.

Rhein, a team captain for the Knights, plans to play indoor and sand volleyball on the collegiate level. She earned a full scholarship to Division I College of Charleston.

Rhein earned All-America honors last spring as her club team, Synergy, earned a national title in Ohio. She also was nominated for Under Armour's Top 24 in the United States.

Lauren Reichard, Eastern York: Although just a sophomore, Reichard led her team in blocks with 53 and was second for hitting (172) this season. She also had a 12-kill, five-block performance as the 12th-seeded Golden Knights upset No. 5 York Suburban in the opening round of districts.
Jess Myers, Kennard-Dale: Myers was a well-rounded player for the Rams this season. She notched 153 kills and 30 aces, while posting 71 digs and 53 blocks defensively. Myers led the way in a Kennard-Dale win against York Catholic, registering 17 kills and eight blocks.
Maddie Reichard, Northeastern: An all-around athlete, the junior didn't lead the Bobcats in kills, blocks or aces but she made plays all over the court. She registered 98 kills, 24 blocks and 27 aces.
Lauren Fink, West York: Fink came through when needed this season, leading the Bulldogs' offense in a comeback victory against Eastern York. In that game, she recorded 13 digs, 11 kills, three aces and a block. The senior chipped in with 17 digs, 14 kills and three aces against Northeastern.
Jasmine Berry, William Penn: Berry hit 10 kills, saved nine digs and served four aces for the Bearcats in their senior-night victory against York County Tech. She also pounded 16 kills against Harrisburg.
Luci Billet, York Suburban: The outside hitter served 53 aces (17 percent) this season for the Trojans. She notched 149 kills and was strong defensively, posting 283 digs and 10 blocks. The senior recorded 11 kills and 11 digs as York Suburban clinched the Division II title against Eastern York.
Kayla Gibbs, York Suburban: The Trojans' outside hitter registered 335 digs this season. Offensively, the junior hit 228 kills (37.2 percent) and had 39 aces this year. Gibbs posted a double-double, with 13 kills and 12 digs in a YAIAA quarterfinal match vs. South Western, then stepped up again with 15 kills, 12 digs and five aces as the Trojans won the division.
Morgan Lehman, York Suburban: The middle hitter had 157 kills this season to go along with her 92 digs and 26 blocks. The junior served up 14 aces on the year for the Trojans. She had an early season double-double against Kennard-Dale, notching 11 kills and 10 digs.

Sonia Guyer, York Suburban: The Trojans didn't live up to expectations last season, finishing fifth in the division with just four victories. With Guyer's guidance, the squad made vast improvements this season and earned its first division crown in 36 years.

"These girls are so hungry for it this year," Guyer said earlier this season. "We struggled the last two years, and they are ready to make a name."

Guyer knows how to bring out the best in her team. Motivation seems to be her specialty, as she offers up a quote or phrase to get the Trojans pumped up for each game. Behind these words of wisdom and Guyer's own guidance, York Suburban finished the season with a 10-5 overall record and a YAIAA Division II crown.

"We've been talking a long time -- since the girls were freshmen -- about wanting to put a banner on the wall," Guyer said. "We finally did."
Eastern York: Kirstin Myers; Kennard-Dale: Jess Franz, Tara Kaltreider, Sara Tarbert; New Oxford: Bonair Berry, Alexis Hufnagle; West York: Dixie Miller; York Suburban: Alexis Gettle.
