It's been a busy preseason for

First, we released the regional GameTimePA iPad football preview on August 1 -- almost a full month before the first high school football games get under way. (And we're not done with it yet -- look for 55 more videos, plus new photos and longer stories during an update during the week of Aug. 19.)

Now, we are getting ready to expand and give you even MORE high school sports coverage.

GameTimePA 3.0 is almost upon us.

GameTimePA will continue to be the best source for high school sports coverage in southcentral Pennsylvania -- from Fulton to Lebanon counties.

But now, coming soon, high school fanatics in the greater Philadelphia region will get their own GameTimePA experience.

GTPA is expanding to the east to include sports teams and leagues from four new regions. Montgomery/Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Berks will make up the GameTimePA-Southeast family. The three current regions -- Franklin/Fulton, York/Adams and Lancaster-Lebanon -- will make up the GameTimePA-Southcentral group.

Here's a closer look at GameTimePA-Southeast:

  • Leagues covered include the Central League and the Del Val League plus schools in the Inter-Academic League and Philadelphia Catholic League.

In the next few days, you'll see some changes to the website -- the current homepage will be replaced -- and on social media, where you can find separate Facebook (GameTimePA and GameTimePA-Southeast) and Twitter accounts (GameTimePA_SC and @GameTimePA_SE).

The one thing that won't change? GameTimePA's commitment to great coverage of high school sports and athletes.

Once the redesigned site launches, we'd love to hear your feedback. Send your comments -- what you like and don't like -- to editor Lyzz Jones at
