NEWTOWN — Neshaminy continued its dominance in the Suburban One National League (SONL), sweeping Council Rock North three games to none April 16 at the home of the Indians.

The Redskins won three straight, despite trailing early in games one and two.

Game one was too close to call with Neshaminy falling behind by a 4-3 margin. A 5-point ' Skins run put Neshaminy on top 8-4 however and they went on to win, 25-23.

Again, Rock North jumped out to an early 4-1 lead in game two, but another 5-point Neshaminy run put the ' Skins on top, 6-4. Neshaminy went on to a 25-18 triumph.

Game three was also close but the ' Skins won that one too, 25-21, to remain unbeaten (9-0, 6-0 SOL) on the season. The Indians, meanwhile fell to 4-4, 3-3 in the SONL.

Neshaminy's effort was aided by 19 team aces in the match. Individually, senior Ryan Jamison came through with seven aces, 15 kills and a .545 hitting percentage. Teammate Chase Fullen added seven aces and 32 assists while J.P. Fay chipped in with 10 digs.

For the Rock, Josh Hinton had eight kills, two blocks and four digs. Austin Fuglestad had four kills and two blocks, and Nick Reich added two kills and six blocks.

The Redskins sit atop the SOL National Conference, tied with Pennsbury. The Falcons are also 7-0 with close 3-2 wins over CR North and William Tennent early on in the season. More recently, Pennsbury defeated Abington twice (3-1, 3-0) and also got past Tennent again, this time 3-1 April 7 in Warminster.
