Boys Lacrosse:

Penn Charter 9, Germantown Academy 2: Derham and McAfee had a goal each, but it wasn't enough as Germantown Academy fell to Penn Charter 9-2. Diver and Ho had an assist each, while Davies recorded five saves in net.

Girls Lacrosse:

Germantown Academy 16, Hill School 10: Betsy Prezioso and Cooper Hall led the charge with four goals each as Germantown Academy beat Hill School 16-0. Jennifer Stack and Emilie Van Blarcom had three goals a piece. Allie Cannon added three assists, while Van Blarcom had two. Hanna Bogorowski scored the other two goals. Goalie Allie Carrigan recorded six saves. GA is now 5-3 overall and 3-1 in Inter-Ac play.


Plymouth Whitemarsh 8, Upper Dublin 5: Susan JanFrancisco's three RBIs, including a two-run homer, pushed PW over Upper Dublin 8-5. Rachel Konowal also had a big night, recording two hits and scoring a run. Innuzzelli and Porrino had a double each for the Colonials. Rachel Hyman led Upper Dublin with a two-run home run in the third, while Becky Haber had a pair of hits and an RBI.

Norristown 5, Wissahickon 1: Norristown defeated Wissahickon 5-1 in a Suburban One American Conference meeting on Wednesday afternoon. The Lady Trojans were led by Andrea Mazurek's three hits in the losing effort. Halle Segal pitched seven innings, striking out seven batters while taking the loss for Wissahickon. Norristown scored one run in the first, two in the fifth and two more in the seventh, while Wissahickon, which committed three errors in the field, scoring one run in the fifth.


Upper Merion 12, Wissahickon 2: Upper Merion scored four runs in the first and scored multiple runs in each of the next four innings en route to a 12-2 win over Wissahickon in a Suburban One American Conference game on Tuesday afternoon. The Trojans' scored one run in each the fourth and fifth innings.


Pennridge 8, Central Bucks East 4: Dan Shane hit a walk off grand slam to push Pennridge past CB East 8-4 in Suburban One Continental action. Long and Brad Misialek both went 3-for-4 in the game. Long also added a double, while Misialek notched three singles. Starting pitcher Eric Wesolowski tossed six solid innings for the Rams. Pennridge is now 3-3 overall and 2-3 in the league.

Wissahickon 4, Norristown 3: Wissahickon received two hits from Matt Oruch and two RBIs from Alexander Tappen in a 4-3 win over Norristown in a Suburban One American Conference game on Wednesday afternoon. Logan Williams earned the win for the Trojans, striking out nine batters over five innings of work to earn the win. Wissahickon scored two runs in the first and two more in the fifth innings.
