I feel we may start out a little slowly, especially given that we have not practiced on a real field yet [as of March 21] due to the severe winter and wet spring, but we will gain traction as the season progresses and my gut tells me that we will be in the mix for the league championship when the playoffs roll around.'

Also, Caitlin Connor got some great experience late in the year filling in for Bari at shortstop and should have a great year at third base. So we should be in a lot of games, hopefully we can build some offense around Bari and Izzy. We're adding some speed and are looking for some players to step up in the middle part of the lineup.'
