The Annville-Cleona boys' basketball team apparently wasn't in the mood for a second straight loss to a county rival.

The Little Dutchmen shook off Friday's lopsided 82-43 loss to Northern Lebanon and got the better of Elco on Monday, upending the Raiders 47-40 in a Section Three-Four crossover battle in Annville.

Casey Smith led the way for Justin Edwards' club, which settled the outcome by racing to a 28-16 halftime lead, with 16 points and three 3-point bombs, and Derrick Sanders backed him up with 11 as A-C improved to 3-2 overall and 1-1 in Section Four.

Caleb Buchmoyer paced Elco (2-3, 1-1 Section Three) with 11 and was the lone Raider in double figures.
