Springfield clinched second place in the Central League with a 9-7 victory over Harriton Friday thanks largely to Emily Santana.

Santana scored four goals, produced one assist and won five draw controls, and Aly Gormley scored four goals for the Cougars (14-2, 10-1).

Emily Paulus chipped in one goal and two assists.

Kate Melvin scored four goals, and Sabrina Tabasso added three goals and two assists for the Rams, who trailed 5-3 at the intermission.

Goalie Kate Bedard had 13 saves for the Cougars.

Conestoga 17, Upper Darby 2: Maggie Stetson, Liz Scott, Abby Lord and Maggie Gladden scored two goals apiece to power the Pioneers. Stetson and Scott added assists.

Erin Fagan and Jessica Gianguilio scored goals for the Royals.

In nonleague action:

Bishop Shanahan 15, Marple Newtown 11: Carley Vegso and Julia Lynch scored three goals apiece, Megan Lynch and Kelly Stipa added two for the Tigers. Danielle Collins chipped in a goal, and goalie Elena Thomas registered 12 saves.
