Joey Fitzgerald completed his comeback from a broken leg he suffered last year, as the senior cruised to his first win of the season by navigating the 3.1-mile course at Rose Tree Park in 19 minutes, 18 seconds to highlight Academy Park's 20-34 victory over Chichester Tuesday in the Del Val League.

Teammate Malik Clark-Crooms was a distant second at 20:28 and freshman Rames Montes posted his personal-best time by taking third in 20:55. Chichester's top finisher was Tim Hines in fourth at 21:03.

Glen Mills 20, Chester 39: Keegan McChesney (18:36) and Ernest Richardson (18:39) delivered a one-two finish for the Battlin' Bulls (2-0) at Rose Tree Park. Ryan Rucker (18:46) was third for Chester.
