Senior Natalie Fox was a winner in her first varsity match to lead Archbishop Carroll to a 5-0 Catholic League victory over Bonner-Prendergast Monday.

Fox teamed with Yvonne Lewis for a 6-2, 6-3 victory at second doubles. Mary Saint-Antoine bounced back from a loss in her last match for a 6-0, 6-0 triumph at first singles.

Elsewhere in the Catholic League:

Cardinal O'Hara 4, St. Hubert 1: Cara Swanick and Laura Brady remained undefeated at second doubles in league play with a 6-2, 6-0 victory. Katie Feehery and Lauren Granata are 4-1 at first doubles for the Lions (5-5, 5-1).

In the Del Val League:

Academy Park 4, Chichester 1: Lattana Sitthara nailed down the victory with a tough three-set victory at second singles. Courtney Jenkins remained unbeaten at first singles (11-0). Academy Park (7-0 Del Val) also won both doubles matches in straight sets.

Brianna Cronin came up with a win in her first career singles match for the Eagles (2-6). Cronin scored a 4-6, 7-5, 6-3 victory over Patricia Kutuakoi at third singles.

Chester 5, Penn Wood 0: Feramu Jebury, Anyae Chestnut and Lasheeda Jones swept the singles in straight sets to lead the Clippers (4-3).

In the Central League:

Penncrest 6, Upper Darby 1: Rebecca Viguers won a tie breaker in the second set for a victory at second singles, and Kimi Kvieder and Alaina Cuine needed three sets and a tie breaker to get past the Royals.


Kim Gain had a hard-fought 3-6, 6-4, 10-4 triumph at third singles for Upper Darby.

Garnet Valley 6, Marple Newtown 1: Richa Srivastava and Ananya Chandra led a clean sweep of the doubles for the Jaguars. Stella Chen and Lexie Savarese were the singles winners for GV. Rylee Power took first singles for the Tigers.

Radnor 4, Strath Haven 3: The Raiders used wins at second (Marissa Lee and June Xia) and fourth doubles (Katherine Desilva and Kate Bozentka) to get past the Panthers. Natalie Cheung and Katie Dell won at first doubles and Jess Urban and Brooke Quinn were victorious at third doubles for Strath Haven.

Ridley 4, Springfield 3: The Green Raiders won three of the four doubles matches including a three-set thrillers by Brianna Benning and Jess Guminney, Maria Yurchenko and Alexis Gallagher, and Caitlin Keershinski and Amelia Czwalina at second, third and fourth doubles, respectively.

Senior Emily Smith gave Springfield its first win at second singles this season. Cassandra Enad picked up her second win at third singles fro the Cougars.

In the Ches-Mont League:

Kennett 7, Sun Valley 0: The Blue Demons won the five contested matches in straight sets. including clean sweeps at first and third doubles.

In nonleague action:

Barrack Hebrew 5, Villa Victoria 0: Gabby Hoessly and Maya Shapiro, and Alexandria Guiterez and Talia Raikin were easy winners at first and second doubles to lead the Cougars.
