The York Daily Record/Sunday News has announced its 2009 girls' lacrosse all-stars.
   Hana Krechel, Kennard-Dale: The senior scored more than 65 goals and had more than 40 assists in leading the Rams into the PIAA tournament. One of her best games came in districts, when she scored five of Kennard-Dale's 22 goals in a blowout win over Lewisburg to advance to the semifinals.
   Megan Beckman, Spring Grove: The junior scored more than 50 goals this season to pace the Rockets. One of her finest games came against Red Lion, where the center scored four goals.
   Alex Bedard, York Suburban: The senior had a solid season for the Trojans. She scored five goals in a win over Red Lion from her midfield position.
   Jacki Belker, Central York: The sophomore helped the Panthers get to the top of Division I. She scored five goals in a game against South Western.
   Carly Bolton, Spring Grove: The sophomore was an offensive threat for the Rockets. The midfielder scored four goals and picked up two assists in a game against York Catholic.
   Kate Garvick, South Western: The senior helped propel the Mustangs into districts. The goalkeeper finished the season with 145 saves.
   Meredith Hady, Dallastown: She combined with Laura Stetler to form a potent offense for the 9-5 Wildcats. The senior capped her career with a five-goal, three-assist effort in Dallastown's loss to Exeter in District 3 play.
   Aliza Holmes, Kennard-Dale: The senior was instrumental in helping the Rams reach the state tournament. The attacker finished with 20 ground balls and more than 40 goals for the season.
   Jocelyn Hudson, Central York: The junior was a key offensive cog for the Panthers. She averaged four goals a game from her midfield position to finish with 60 goals for the season.
   Lindsey McCoy, Susquehannock: The senior was great for the 15-3 Warriors, as she scored 42 goals. She was very consistent in finding the back of the net with two-goal games against York Suburban, Central Dauphin and Manheim Township to end the season.
   Ashley Pietra, Kennard-Dale: The junior helped solidify a strong Rams defense. She finished with 25 draw controls and more than 30 ground balls.
   Kate Sauter, Susquehannock: The junior led the Warriors with 53 goals. The midfielder scored seven goals during the Warriors' first-round District 3 contest against Central Dauphin.
   Laura Stetler, Dallastown: The senior was the top scorer during the successful season for the Wildcats. Among her big games, the attack winger notched four goals during Dallastown's district game against Exeter.

   Kelly Wetzel, Kennard-Dale: Wetzel led the Rams to the YAIAA Division II title, an appearance in the District 3 semifinals and an appearance in the PIAA tournament. 
   Kristin Kowalczyk, Susquehannock: Kowalczyk led the Warriors into the second round of the District 3 tournament. The Warriors finished with a 14-4 record.
