Spring-Ford 13, Phoenixville 1: Jess Nattle went 3-for-3 with two runs batted in, and Amber Sergas and Jenna Lee combined on a two-hitter as the Rams topped the Phantoms in PAC-10 action May 7 at Ram Park.

Megan Kern was 2-for-2 with two RBIs while Morgan Maziarz was 2-for-3 with two RBIS. Gabby Tarelia also drove int wo runs for Spring-Ford (16-2, 16-2), which broke the game open by scoring 11 first-inning runs.

Taylor Crown and Tiler Rennard had hits for Phoenixville. Crown drove in Courtney Panepinto with the Phantoms' lone run in the top of the first inning.


Methacton won the PAC-10 title with an 8-0 record, followed by Spring-Ford at 7-1, Perkiomen Valley at 6-2, and Phoenixville came in fourth at 5-3.

Pope John Paul II came in at 4-4, followed by Owen J. Roberts at 3-5, Boyertown 2-6, Pottsgrove 1-7 and Upper Perkiomen 0-8.

In a non-league match, Phoenixville defeated Norristown, 6-1.

At first singles, Norristown's Ben Aguaren defeated Luke Lombardi 7-5, 6-2. The Phantoms' Bobby Newman won at second singles 6-1, 6-1 over Jordan Schaud. At third singles, Nick Vaile won a 6-0, 6-1 verdict over Ben Chronisten.

The Phantoms' doubles tandems of Austin Starczewski/Mike Pinelli, Andy Peterson/Matt Fabius, Dave Nascari/Jim Trainer and Jake Casmay/Chris Hytha each won their matches in straight sets.
